Jr. Little was a good friend and a great customer who passed away in 2017. His Meadowlark Valley Farm was a top notch family run Bourbon County Breeding Farm

Two products at Quillins ar the direct result of Jr Little's request and design. He held our feet to the fire to make a bit that could be used on his sales yearling - or custom made Little Bit. He was also the horseman that brought his wall size breeding & teasing chart to us to design and print. A fantastic desktop tool for the breeder - when the desktop was the dining room table.

"My dad was a legend, and his dream was to breed the winner of the Kentucky Derby, but he never quite got there," said Teresa Little. "But he bred the winner of the Preakness and the Belmont. Hansel almost won it all for us, and he was a champion."

Little bred a number of notable stakes winners throughout the decades, including Kinsale King , who won the 2010 Dubai Golden Shaheen Sponsored by Gulf News (G1). According to his family, though, Hansel and Miss Oceana remained his personal favorites throughout his life.
