Spring is here — and so is the best reason to visit
Paris, Kentucky.
If you've been meaning to stop by the shop, this is your reminder. Keeneland is running, the farms are green, and Bourbon County is doing what it does best this time of year — putting on a show.
We've been right here on Main Street since 1982, and not much has changed. A dozen craftsmen. The same century-old Campbell stitcher machines. The same English bridle leather. And the same commitment to making things by hand, the right way, every single time.
What we make: Thousands of halters a year — but that's just the start. We craft custom belts, leather dog collars, personalized gifts, engraved nameplates, key tags, barware, lead shanks, and more. If it's leather, we can likely make it, engrave it, or repair it. All in-house. All by hand.
Why Paris? Because you're already in Central Kentucky. Horse farms stretching as far as you can see. The Bourbon Trail running right through Bourbon County. And one of the most authentic small towns left in the Bluegrass sitting right in the middle of it all. Paris doesn't get enough credit — but those who find it tend to come back.
What you'll get when you walk in: Personal service from people who actually made what you're looking at. No middlemen. No big box. Just craftsmen who take pride in their work and are happy to talk about it. Spend a little more. Get something that'll last a lifetime. That's a Kentucky heirloom — and that's Quillin Leather & Tack!

People drive from all over to see Keeneland, the horse farms and hit the bourbon trail. While you're making that trip, add one more stop. Quillin Leather. 716 Main Street, Paris, Kentucky. We've been making handcrafted leather goods right here in Bourbon County since 1982 — halters, belts, dog collars, engraved pieces, custom work, repairs. You'll get personal service and something genuinely made by hand in Kentucky. Worth the detour. Worth every penny.
