The Field Notes inside does its job without complaint: 48 pages of acid-free, 60 lb Finch Opaque paper that takes ink cleanly and holds up to daily use. At 3.5" x 5.5," it slips into a shirt pocket, a jacket, or a saddle bag with room to spare.
What makes this one different is what's on the outside. Our craftsmen fit each memo book into a cover cut from the same premium leather we've been working since 1982 — the same hands, the same tools, the same standards we bring to every halter and headstall that leaves this shop. It's stitched for durability and develops a rich patina over time, turning a simple notebook into something worth keeping long after the pages are full.
Field Notes are proudly printed and manufactured in the USA. The leather cover is handcrafted in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
