    The Smallest Things

Most of our customers buy our leather goods for the robust construction, customer service and fair price. Many also recognize the attention to detail and the craftsmanship that goes into each halter, belt, dog collar and more. Every halter is touched at least 150 times during the cutting, stitching and final assembly. Every strap is hand cut and individually inspected all throughout the halter making process.

Halter making has not changed in the past 150 years. The addition of electric motors is about the only addition to out 100+ year old machines and this traditional craft. We still use solid brass and the best English finished bridle leather we can find for our halters. And we still maintain and rebuild our production equipment to produce a beautiful product that will last for decades.

Our halter makers are very good at what they do and and it shows in the work they put out. Expect your Quillin Halter to take a little longer - after all it was handmade, probably to your order, in our Main Street Paris Kentucky Shops. Quality takes time and while we are constantly on the lookout for folks that might gel with our team and appreciate the hand crafted aspect - they are as common as a Blue Hen.
