A Belt is a Belt ... Right?
I have been bombarded by "Belts For Sale" this morning on the internet. All claiming made in the USA, genuine leather, handmade and one that evens states Italian Leather with a steel insert. I have not seen one of these pieces of propaganda that pictured a well made belt - truly the art of hand crafting does not translate to a factory environment or mass production.
I have a very good friend that has been in the cattle business for 5 or 6 decades - 10 years longer than us. His words of wisdom have stayed with me for as long as I have know him and simply put "it's better to know the breeder than the breeding." Same with Quillins - you buy 40+ years of expertise and dedication to our customers and the products we make.
Now to our belts:
Every strap is hand cut and sized
We use only the finest hand selected medium / heavy English Finished Bridle Leather - the same as our halters. Single ply leather goes into every robust belt we hand craft.
Solid Brass Buckles or Stainless Steel (on our Black Belts) with a traditional #5 buckle pattern that goes back generation. Many of our fine leather goods are ordered with an engraved name plate - once again made in-house and of exceptional quality.
Fine finished hand rubbed edges with either stitched or riveted construction.
