We've got a great sizing chart at https://www.quillin.com/service/halter-size/ - so it is relatively easy to measure an existing halter and compare those sizes to our specs. Remember we measure from JUST the leather so do not include the halter hardware in your measurements.
Now our most popular halter, this really depends on your intended use. Our track halter is a robust 1 1/8 inch strap with a little larger hardware and comes standard with a stationary chin and triple stitched nose. Great for the race track, but a little bit more halter that you would want for farm and barn use. Consider our Kentucky Sale Halter as an alternative. Built just like our Track Heater, but with 1 inch and hardware/ Incredibly serviceable and good looking halter.
We offer and optional throat snap and name plate with all of our halters and like all our halters they come in brown and brass or black and stainless. And don't forget our Quillin Turnout Halters.
