We opened our first Paris KY shop in 1982 - after a number of years in a stripping room on the farm. Then setting up shop in our dining room lasted less than a year, as I was unceremoniously kicked out and told to move my shop to town.
During this time we began to dabble with national advertising and sold a few halters over the phone, to bolster our Brick and Mortar customers.Pretty much you could call or come in to order, but in 1995 we launched Quillin.com.
Fast forward to 2023 and where we see customer service and order entry going:
Online at Quillin.com is the easiest, fastest and offer our best shipping rates through our UPS and FedEx preferred partner programs. Plus it helps with order flow and cuts down on order errors and greatly helps us in the engraving shop. And there is some big news for our international Quillin.com customers - we've added FedEx International Connect Plus. A 7 - 10 day shipping service that can save up to 60% on export orders while offer professional tracking. Expedited international shipping is still available, but with a 3+ week lead time on orders, planning and placing your online order can make the Connect Plus option work for most of our customers.
