• What is the difference between Quillin Sale and Turnout Halters?
• The Quillin Sale Halter is designed for a polished, elegant look for sales/shows with features like two-ply nosebands, Rolled Throat and triple stitched cheeks. Available in 4 styles and a number of sizes.

• Our Turnout Halter is geared toward daily, durable wear and is made from the same material including solid brass hardware. Both are a robust, good looking halter with optional hand polished engraved name plates and throat snaps. 

• Both halters are available in Brown and Brass or Black and Stainless (allow 2 extra weeks on Black Halters)

• How do I choose the right halter size? They offer various sizes from foals to stallions and draft, with adjustable options for a perfect fit. See: https://www.quillin.com/service/halter-size-chart/

• Does Quillin Leather offer leather repair services? Yes we have a full leather shop and are the largest custom halter shop in the Nation. Our scope of work is limited to that of a halter shop and minor saddle repair and we do not offer shoe or garment repair. 

• Can I get custom, personalized items? Yes, Quillin Leather specialize in custom leather goods with hand-engraved solid brass nameplates, including note pads, engraved Kentucky key tags, Kentucky Belt and dog collars. We are one of a very few shops that offer in-house engraving AND repair. 

• Is their leather high quality? Yes, Quillins uses premium hand selected English finished bridle leather and solid brass - featuring traditional Kentucky crafting methods, using century-old machines.
• All items are produced in small batches using skills and tools passed down for generations. 

• Where is the store located? Their workshop and store are located on Main Street in Paris, Kentucky. We are in the heart of the Bluegrass in Bourbon County - 25 minutes from Lexington, The KY Horse Park and 35 min from Keeneland. We are right downton and are opened Monday 8-2pm, Tuesday - Friday 8-5pm and Saturday 9 till noon

• Does Quillins ship internationally? Yes, we ship our handcrafted items worldwide. We use FedEx or UPS.
