The heavy, hand-selected leather is triple-stitched for durability, then hand-rubbed and oil-dipped for that distinctive rich finish. Hand Crafted In Kentucky - Shipped to you from Main Street Paris KY. Handmade from heavy hand selected English finished bridle leather and solid brass hardware. Each halter is hand rubbed and dipped in harness oil for a light oiled leather, rich finish and lasting good looks. Add a custom engraved plate in Roman text on mare & yearling halters and block text on 2 line breeding plates for that finishing touch. Also available as an option is an easy off-throat snap (adds 2 inches to the throat).

Engraving limited to 26 characters and spaces per line.

Available in brown/brass or black and silver - black/brass and brown/silver see our Custom Shop.

Breeding Plates (block text) are a two line plate. The first line is the horses name, the second line is a smaller font and has either the Sire & Dam names or the farm name. Custom made items and items with engraved name plates are NON-RETURNABLE. Please make sure your order contains the right size, color and engraving info.

I ordered my halter on a Sunday and it arrived the following Friday! The quality is great, and the leather was already very supple. The engraving on the plate is also nice. I like that it seems to be deeper in the plate with a thicker font, making it easier to read.
